ABOUT
As a writer, director, and editor, Alec applies his architectural education and background into a wholistic approach to filmmaking, always seeking the harmony between form and function. His work includes scripted, documentary, and commercial films, constantly seeking the right cross-pollination to tell meaningful, human stories.
He has worked on campaigns for brands such as Porsche, Chevron, Jordan, and Off-White. In 2023/24 Alec released his feature documentary: ‘Sitting in the Fire’ (Heartland International Film Festival, Dances With Films Festival, Catalina Film Festival); short film: ‘What Happened to You’ (DOC NYC, Hawaii International Film Festival, Woods Hole Film Festival [Jury Award], Waco Independent Film Festival [Winner], New Filmmakers LA); Meme Me (Orlando Film Festival, Iowa independent Film Festival, Twin Cities Film Festival, and ‘Movers’ [Copenhagen Film Festival - Winner, ReelHeART International Film Festival, InShadow].
